A flashy, fully loaded car parked next to a whether beaten 25 year old clunker. Which one is more attractive to a car thief? Guess again, no you are wrong.

The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB)released its 2008 auto theft report for 2007, and similar to previous years. The shocking fact is thieves preferred to steal older model vehicles.

The oldies are true treasure for the car thieves. The car isn't worth much but the individual parts like the seats, sound system, air bags and other parts are worth a lot sold on the black market.
