LG's Stretched Monitors

LG Electronics, a global leader in consumer electronics, today expands its monitor portfolio with the launch of its first two stretched display monitors for the UK. The M3800S-BN and M2900S-BN have been designed specifically to host large format digital data for public locations. Both screens have a high picture quality and can display data either horizontally or vertically in large format and full colour. In addition, users can easily control power, contrast, brightness and volume from a single computer, by simply connecting cables between each monitor.

Fiona Landsberg, marketing manager, LG Electronics, says, “This is the first time LG has launched stretched screen monitors in the UK. They’re great for use in all locations that require large format digital signage, whether it’s on a 38″ or 29″ screen. The M3800S-BN and the M2900S-BN have a screen resolution of 1366 x 398 and 1366 x 480 respectively, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 9 ms (grey-to-grey) response time, digital and analogue video input and PC input via 15-pin D-Sub.
